Chris Blumhofer
Parish Associate
Chris and his family came to Durham and to Blacknall in 2008. He was ordained in 2018 to his position as a professor at Fuller Seminary. At Fuller, Chris teaches New Testament, with a particular love for the gospels and how they help us understand what it means to know who God is and how to follow Him with our lives. Chris serves Blacknall as a Parish Associate, which is a title that Presbyterians use to refer to people who have the training and ordination to serve as pastors but are primarily serving the church in another role (in this case, training pastors to read the Bible). Around Blacknall, Chris's service is primarily through leadership in our worship services on Sunday mornings and at our monthly Evening Prayer Service.
