Prayer Ministries

There are many opportunities to join in prayer throughout the week for our congregation, city, and world. If you’d like to join us for in-person prayer, check out our upcoming prayer events.

2nd Sunday Prayer | 4 - 5 p.m. | Fellowship Hall

We meet on the second Sunday of each month — sometimes with a potluck meal before our time of prayer for the dozens of Blacknall-supported mission partners serving in Durham, on campus, in Congo, and around the world!

Evening Prayer Service | 5 - 6 p.m. | Sanctuary

A contemplative service that includes a time of prayer, worship, and reflection. We don’t gather every month, so check our prayer calendar for upcoming services.

Intercessory prayer group | Tuesdays, 7:30 a.m.

A time of confidential prayer for fellow congregants.

Prayers for renewal | Saturdays, 8 a.m.

We spend the hour praying for Blacknall Church, for our campus workers, for our missionaries, for the city of Durham, and for local ministries supported by Blacknall. We meet over Zoom.
