David Dunderdale

Associate Pastor for Mission & Pastoral Care

David is an Associate Pastor at Blacknall with primary responsibility for Adult Education (Sunday School, Small Groups, Table Talk, Men’s Ministry, etc.) and Missions (Durham, Campus, and International).  

David is the husband of Kim and Dad to five grown children—Lucy (and Evan), Nellie, Nora (and Ian), Sam, and Abe.  He grew up in Pittsburgh in the glory days of the Steelers and Pirates and has lived in Providence, Philadelphia, Vancouver, Princeton, Oxford (Ohio), Waterloo (Iowa),  Yaounde (Cameroon), and back to the Holy City of Pittsburgh before coming to Durham and Blacknall in 2008. He loves basketball and Lionel Messi. He enjoys going for walks and exploring cities with Kim. Books that have impacted his life besides the Bible are Les Miserables by Victor Hugo and listening to Allan Poole talk about The Great Divorce.  

David received his Masters of Divinity degree after three years at Regent College and Princeton Theological Seminary.
