Goodwyn Bell
Senior Pastor
As senior pastor, Goodwyn (Goodie) Bell works closely with our Session and staff, equipping them to serve Christ together. She plays a lead role in preaching and teaching with a goal of building up the entire community of believers here at Blacknall.
Goodie earned her Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School in 2013. Before seminary, she spent five years as a campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA. Her experience with InterVarsity and urban ministries in Richmond helped Goodie discern a call to ordination. She also served at Blacknall for 10 years, working with young adults, small group ministry, and Christian education.
Goodie and her husband, Jack, live on 50 acres with their four children where they seek the health of the land, humans, and all creatures in their care.
