The Gospel of Mark
The Gospel of Mark opens with a message about the kingdom of God and begs the question: Under whose power, authority, and dominion are we living? The Gospel of Mark will give us a chance to reflect on God’s dominion and our discipleship as we strive to look more like Jesus, our true King.
As a community, we can engage with Scripture in three additional ways outside of Sunday sermons to experience its richness. While we walk through Mark, you’re encouraged to find new ways to study the word of God individually and with others:
Join “The Daily Word,” an email series that delivers excerpts from Mark Monday through Saturday.
Attend a small group, where most of our groups will follow along and discuss the Gospel of Mark sermon series this fall.
Come to Sunday School at 10 a.m. on Sundays, where you can discuss Scripture and Christian life.
Our Sunday sermons provide depth and meaning to the Gospel of Mark, but our hope is that you also join us in these other ways to discover how God may speak to you through his word and in community. Use the calendar below to access past readings from The Daily Word:
