We're excited to welcome three interns to Blacknall this summer! Sam Hayes, Daniel Ho, and Caleb Rolling will work with our Children's and Youth ministries, leading Sunday School classes, camps, helping at retreats like The Great Escape, and more. Caleb returns after interning last semester, too.

Our intern program is a way for us support young leaders as they grow in their connection to God and build skills to serve our community and beyond. Please say hi as you see them!

Sam Hayes

I just completed my first year at the University of Iowa! I'm thrilled to be spending this summer at Blacknall, pursuing my passion for children's and youth ministry and serving God through the church's mission. You may see me around during morning service or playing fiddle in the band. I look forward to strengthening my relationship with the entire congregation this summer!

Daniel Ho

I just finished my second of three years at Duke Divinity School where I am getting my Master of Divinity degree. I’m very excited to work at Blacknall this summer and learn from its excellent staff. In addition to my studies at Duke, I also work for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as the campus minister for Duke undergraduate students.

Caleb Rolling

After spending last summer interning at Cambridge Presbyterian Church in Cambridge, Ohio — my hometown — I’m looking forward to getting to know more people at Blacknall and get more involved with the life of our congregation. I’m currently a Master of Divinity student at Duke. Blacknall has been a home for me and my wife, Alayna, since 2024. When I’m not at school or church, I enjoy reading and working outside.
