Our Women’s Ministry will host a summer book club to read “What Grows in Weary Lands” by Tish Harrison Warren. In her new book, Tish offers a fresh perspective on timeless wisdom about discipleship through the theme of a “long obedience in the same direction.” The group will meet on Saturdays from June 20 to Aug. 1 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. at Tanya Moore’s home in Durham. The group will discuss themes of the book, which focus on navigating burnout and weariness through Christian practices. You’ll also talk trough ways to apply new ideas and try embodied spiritual practices together.
