DITA2025: A Symposium on Theology and the Arts

How can the arts help us open up the very heart of the Christian faith, celebrated at the Council of Nicaea in 325, that Jesus Christ is “one in being” with God? DITA2025 is a four-day symposium at Duke designed for clergy, lay people, artists, academics, and theologians alike. Speakers and artists include Rowan Williams, Sandra McCracken, Chigozie Obioma, Amy Peeler, Malcolm Guite, and more. DITA2025 will be held September 4-7, 2025, but early-bird registration closes on March 15. Register now. Contact Mary Lynn Myers with questions.

Blacknall Women in Healthcare

Women in healthcare professions often face unique challenges. Providing skilled care with compassion while managing demanding hours requires significant emotional labor and often leads to spiritual stress. There are also many rewarding and fulfilling experiences and lessons learned that can be shared. We warmly invite women in all areas of healthcare to join us for fellowship and conversations, to share wisdom, triumphs, and challenges.

There are also low commitment—but critical— positions that we need to fill.
