Blacknall will launch a new small group experience for healthcare professionals this month. It will follow the structure of “The Healer’s Vocation,” a course created by faculty and staff in the Theology, Medicine and Culture Initiative at Duke Divinity School meant to help Christians as they navigate the demands of healthcare work. The group will meet Thursday nights from Jan. 15 to March 19, from 7 - 8:15 p.m. in the Parlor.
Weekly gatherings will offer space for reflection and inspiration for integrating faith and work in healthcare settings. Each session includes Scripture, prayer, a short video, engagement with art, and guided conversation led by Blacknall’s Karen Frush and Ehsan Samei. The group is limited to 10 participants to allow space for deeper reflection and sharing.
Healthcare professionals interested in joining can email Karen. Learn more about the experience on The Healer’s Vocation website and this participant’s guide.
