3 p.m, 4 p.m., 5 p.m., & 6 p.m.

Location | Blacknall parking lot on Iredell Street (gravel lot adjacent to the Duke lot)

Celebrate the Incarnation at a small outdoor 30-40 minute service! Masks or face coverings are required (ages 2 and up) and households will be spaced at least six feet apart. Please bring a chair or blanket. Find more information below.

FAQ

Where is the worship service?
The services will take place in the Blacknall parking lot on Iredell Street. This is the gravel lot that is adjacent to the Duke lot. 

Where can I park?
You may park in the Duke lot or use on-street parking. 

How many people can attend?
Up to 40 people may register for each service. Up to 10 staff, musicians, and/or deacons will also be present. The total number of people will be within the North Carolina Phase 3 limit of 50 people for outdoor gatherings.  

Will you offer a Worship from Home liturgy? 
Yes, a Worship from Home liturgy for Christmas Eve will be posted on the website. 

Do I need to register?
Yes. You may register here.  You may also call the church office to register. Visitors are welcome: You do not need to be a Blacknall member or have a CCB account to register. 

What if registration is full?
If registration is full, you may request to be placed on the waitlist.

What happens if it rains?
In the case of light rain, we encourage participants to bring umbrellas. If the service is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be notified via email by 11am on the 24th. 

Do I need to wear a mask or face covering?
Yes, masks or face coverings are required for the duration of the service for all adults and children 2 and up. 

Will you screen volunteers or attendees for symptoms? 
We will not screen for symptoms on site. The registration form and reminder email include pre-screening questions to help registrants identify any possible symptoms. If you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or have any symptoms, please remain at home.   

What is available for children?
There is no nursery or Children’s worship; however, we welcome children and ask them to remain with parents for the duration of the service.  

How long will the service be?
The service will last 30-40 minutes.

How will we be seated? Will social distancing be maintained?  
Small stakes will mark spaces 6+ feet apart for socially-distanced seating. Please bring your own blanket or chair. 

How do I enter and exit the service?  
Please park on the street or in the Duke lot. There will be a welcome table at the gravel lot entrance to check-in. 

Are restrooms available?  
Restrooms in the Upper Atrium are available, if necessary.  Please speak to a deacon for assistance.  

What happens if someone who attended a service tests positive for COVID-19?
Please contact the church office immediately if you attend a worship service and subsequently test positive for COVID-19. If there is a confirmed case among worshippers, we will maintain the privacy of the infected individual(s) but will inform all those who were present at the service that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 among worshippers.  

How do I cancel a registration? 
To cancel your registration please call or email the church office (churchoffice@blacknall.org). We appreciate any advance notice to allow others to attend if you are unable to come.

Will the service include singing?
Yes, the service will include congregation singing.   

Will Communion be part of the service?
No, Communion will not be part of the service.
