Join a Small Group

Posted January 12th, 2009

Small groups provide a great opportunity for people to develop more intimate relationships with God and one another through fellowship, study, prayer, and sharing life together. A variety of groups, some including childcare, are currently meeting and would love to have you join them. New groups and leaders are also welcome. For more info, visit the small groups website or send us an email.

New Communion Tradition

Posted July 1st, 2008

Blacknall is beginning a new tradition on Communion Sundays starting July 6. As a way to prepare thankful hearts for worship, we ask you to bring a non-perishable food item and place it in the basket outside the sanctuary. We will donate the food to the food bank where it will be distributed to organizations like Urban Ministries and Durham Rescue Mission. As we feed on the body of Christ, who is God’s exceedingly gracious and abundant gift, may this abundance spill forth from our lives, responding to Christ’s calling to care for the “least of these.”
