Welcome Blacknall's Fall Interns

We're excited to welcome two interns to Blacknall this fall! Lydia Harrison returns after working with us in the spring and Caleb Rolling joins us for his first semester as an intern. During their time with us, they’ll serve our Youth, Young Adult, and Worship ministries.

Our intern program is a way for us support young leaders as they grow in their connection to God and build skills to serve our community and beyond. Please say hi as you see them!

Lydia Harrison

I spent the summer interning at Reality Ministries, an organization that nurtures community between adults with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. (They're one of our deep common journey partners!) It was a sweet opportunity to form new friendships and explore the richness of communion in shared rhythms of ordinary life. What drew me back to Blacknall is how much I love learning from the wisdom and faithfulness of our staff and congregation, and I'm grateful for how Jesus continually chooses to make himself known to me in this place. I look forward to seeing his faithfulness at work this year in our individual and collective stories. Learn more about Lydia.

Caleb Rolling

I spent my summer interning at Cambridge Presbyterian Church in Cambridge, Ohio — my hometown. It was fun to dive into the life of a congregation with which I was previously unacquainted yet in an area I know well. I was encouraged by a smaller congregation in a rural community by their commitment to Christian discipleship as “a long obedience in the same direction” — their desire to reach people outside the sanctuary with Christ’s good news and their readiness to meet needs of their neighbors. At Blacknall, I’m looking forward to getting to know folks I’ve not yet met and to enter the life of the congregation in a more deliberate way. Learn more about Caleb.
