We're excited to welcome three interns to Blacknall this summer! Avyi Hill (left), Zeke Epps (center), and Suzanne Pape (right) will work with our Children's and Youth ministries, leading Sunday School classes, art camp, and retreats for Discovery Week, Great Escape, and more. Suzanne returns after interning last semester, too.

Our intern program is a way for us support young leaders as they grow in their connection to God and build skills to serve our community and beyond. Please say hi as you see them!

I’m entering the final year of my the MDiv/MSW program at Duke Divinity School and UNC-Chapel Hill. I’m excited to continue working with our Young Adults group, facilitating Sunday School, social events, and helping people feel connected. I’m looking forward to another summer at Blacknall and would love to get coffee with you and get to know you!

I just graduated from Campbell University in the spring and will continue my theological education at Duke Divinity School this fall. I'm excited to work as a youth ministry intern over the summer, serving primarily with the middle and high school youth. I'll see you around the church this summer!

I recently completed my first of three years at Duke Divinity School and am very excited to be working at Blacknall this summer, especially with our wonderful middle and high schoolers. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated in 2023 from Wheaton College with degrees in math and theology. My hobbies include baking (ask me about my double chocolate cookie recipe), running, and reading fiction and theology.
