What does it mean to be called to the corner of Iredell and Perry streets? On Wednesday, Oct. 15, we’ll continue our discussion of how the Lord has guided Blacknall for more than 100 years in this location and how that history will shape our planning for the future.
Toward the end of 2026, we’ll begin a construction project to replace our sanctuary roof structure. Until then, we’ll continue to meet as we always do — architects and engineers have said we can use the space as normal. However, well ahead of when any restoration begins, we’ll come together for a second Church Family Dinner. It will give us time to share information and reflect on this once-in-a-century opportunity to reaffirm our calling to this place.
We’ll meet from 5:30 - 8 p.m. with a catered dinner and fellowship from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
The cost of dinner is $10 per person or $30 per family. Scholarships to cover food costs are available as needed.
You can also register as an attender only (no cost) if you want to join for our information session and group discussion.
Childcare is available for newborns and children through grade 5 — register here.
After dinner, we’ll recap the previous session at 7 p.m. before spending time in group prayer, discussion, and discernment about what it means to be a faithful witness and good neighbor in our location. If you didn’t attend on Oct. 8, you can read a list of FAQs about the project.
All are welcome and we encourage our youth to participate! High schoolers can attend and middle schoolers can attend or sign-up to help with childcare by contacting Director of Children's Ministry Brandon Miller.
