Our 19th annual Festival of the Bean brought some fall flair to this past weekend as about 250 Blacknall members, attenders, and friends gathered at Camp Chestnut Ridge to taste their way through an array of chili, play lawn games, and cozy up by a fire. From 16 entries in our chili competition, our winners were:

1st Place: Alanya Rolling, "Cowgirl Chili"
2nd Place: James Johnson, "Clear Creek Chili"
3rd Place: Brian Mitchell, "Chili O'Lantern" (with some help from wife, Kathy)

With the top-placing recipe, Alanya earned the title of “Lady of the Bean” for 2025.
