Events throughout September and October give us the chance to go deeper in our relationship with each other and as disciples of Christ. From the launch of a new season of Sunday School classes to retreats to the mountains, it's a chance to reflect on the ways you can take your next step in following Jesus.
Here are some ways to get involved in this season of discipleship:
Fall Sunday School
Classes begin Sept. 13
Classes for all ages, from children to adults. Join any class at any time, even if you did not attend a prior semester. A great way to make friends and grow your faith.

Alpha
Series begins Sept. 23
Exploring the Christian faith with people across a spectrum of belief. Share a meal, ask and answer questions, and talk openly about life and faith in a safe space. All are welcome!

Potluck with Ministry Partners
Sept. 20
Get to know some of our Durham ministry partners and the ways we can support their work in the community. Hear updates about their work and the lasting impact.

Oct. 3 & 4
Two half-day sessions to learn about being part of the Blacknall family. Anyone can join to learn more about life at Blacknall, regardless of whether you've decided to be a member yet.

Festival of the Bean
Oct. 18
Our annual chili-lovers' event includes free chili for all to try, a competition to name our "Lord" or "Lady of the Bean" with the top chili, and games for all ages.

Get away to the Montreat Conference Center in the North Carolina mountains for a time of worship, fellowship, and opportunities to deepen relationships.
