Families Moving Forward, a Blacknall Deep Common Journey partner, will host its annual Chefs for Change Gala & Auction on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 6 - 10 p.m. at The Cookery in Durham (map). Every dollar raised supports housing, case management, education, and connections to community resources for families experiencing homelessness.

This year’s multi-course dinner will be prepared by esteemed Durham chefs Matt Kelly of Nana's, Chris Garrett of Seraphine, Aaron Benjamin of Gocciolina, Chris McLaurin of Lutra Bakery, and Alex Catotti and Erin Kobler of Cornelia. Guests can also participate in silent and live auctions, with money going to support the work of Families Moving Forward.
