We’re excited to launch Alpha, a program that walks through core aspects of the Christian faith for people across the spectrum of belief. All at Blacknall are invited to join an information session to learn how you can get involved on Sunday, Nov. 2 from 10 - 10:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Started in the UK in the late 1970s, Alpha sessions bring together believers and those who are simply curious to share a meal, ask honest questions, and talk openly about life and faith in a safe, welcoming space. There’s no pressure and no preaching — just real conversations and room for the Holy Spirit to move. We’re seeking people to host or help by providing meals or childcare – no need to be an experienced evangelist to participate. Our goal is to create spaces where we can talk about our faith with loved ones in a meaningful way.
“Alpha is a joyful experience,” said Associate Pastor Dave Dunderdale. “It's a joy of getting to know other people as we talk about important questions. It is a joy of sharing good food together. It's a joy of seeing how God will show up as we meet together.”
