International Students, Inc., a Blacknall Deep Common Journey partner, needs hosts for this semester’s Duke Supper Club. These gatherings offer you a chance to love your neighbors for a cross-cultural experience.
If you’re new to hosting, you’ll need to attend an orientation at Blacknall this Saturday, Aug. 29, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. A virtual option will be offered on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
A kickoff event for all hosts will take place Saturday, Sept. 12, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Blacknall.
If you can’t serve as a host but want to support Duke Supper Club, you can volunteer at the Sept. 12 kickoff by helping with food preparation and setup, greeting students, or cleaning up.
Volunteers will be matched with up to four students to host a meal during these weekends: Sept. 25 - 27, Oct. 23 - 25, and Nov. 13 - 15. Your group can decide the exact time and date for your meal.
