Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
God’s love endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—
God’s love endures forever.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind
God’s love endures forever. (Psalm 107:1-2a;8)
Song | Holy Spirit, You Are Welcome Here
There’s nothing worth more that could ever come close.
No thing can compare; You’re our living hope.
Your presence, Lord…
I’ve tasted and seen of the sweetest of loves,
Where my heart becomes free and my shame is undone.
Your presence, Lord…
Holy Spirit, You are welcome here.
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere.
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for,
To be overcome by Your presence, Lord.
Your presence, Lord…
Let us become aware of Your presence.
Let us experience the glory of Your goodness. (repeat both lines)

Scripture Reading | Lamentations 3:17-33
17 I have been deprived of peace;
I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18 So I say, “My splendor is gone
and all that I had hoped from the Lord.”
19 I remember my affliction and my wandering,
the bitterness and the gall.
20 I well remember them,
and my soul is downcast within me.
21 Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.
28 Let him sit alone in silence,
for the Lord has laid it on him.
29 Let him bury his face in the dust—
there may yet be hope.
30 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him,
and let him be filled with disgrace.
31 For no one is cast off
by the Lord forever.
32 Though he brings grief, he will show compassion,
so great is his unfailing love.
33 For he does not willingly bring affliction
or grief to anyone.
Song | I Am For You
(Jesus sings to us)
I am the Bread of Life,
When you’re hungry, I will feed you.
I am the Bread of Life,
When you’re hungry, I will fill you.
I am for you. (4x)
I am the Light of the World,
In the darkness, I am shining.
I am the Light of the World,
In the darkness, I will lead you.
I am for you. (4x)
I am the Good, Good Shepherd,
From your fears I will protect you.
I am the Good, Good Shepherd,
When you wander, I will seek you.
I am for you. (4x)

Call to Confession
16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Come; let us confess our sins.
Prayers of Confession
Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.
For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
Friends, it is true: in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. May the Peace of Christ be with you.
Passing the Peace
Text, email, or call a friend and extend the love of Christ to them.
Affirmation of Faith | Apostles Creed
We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
Children’s Blessing | 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is… patient
Love is kind
It does NOT envy
It does NOT boast
It is NOT proud
It does NOT dishonor others
It is NOT self-seeking
It is NOT easily angered
It keeps NO record of wrongs
It does NOT delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres
Love NEVER fails

Proclamation of the Word | David Dunderdale
1 Corinthians 12:31-13:13
31 But strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Song of Response | Outpost of the Kingdom
We are an outpost of the Kingdom,
A living, holy temple of the Lord of All!
We are a lighthouse in the darkness,
A beacon of love for those who hear His call.
(last time only)
He has come! He has come! He has come!
Our hope rests in God’s compassionate love;
A family, once broken, now restored.
Through our thankful lips His Holy Spirit breathes
The message of Good News to this world.
He gives us strength through our weakness redeemed;
We share each other’s burdens, for our freedom’s won.
With grateful hearts, we worship our King;
Our lives proclaim His kingdom come!
The night is over, the day has dawned;
Our eyes, once blinded, now can see!
Death is defeated, the price is paid;
We are raised as the standard of His victory!

Prayers of Thanksgiving and Intercession
Let's pray together:
Lord Jesus, we praise You. Your resurrection changed everything. We've heard rumors that You are alive, and some have seen it. Increase our faith and lead us, as you promised, into truth. You forgave us, so help us forgive today. Give us the capacity to change because of your love. Thank you, Holy Spirit for your action to renew us and build the church again. Give us the will to act in love with the gifts you offer us so freely. We ask for patience, kindness, protection, and perseverance.
Give answer as we pray: Lord, have mercy.
For all those in public office, may they use their authority to safeguard the well-being and dignity of human life. Lord, have mercy.
For scientists and medical leaders, may you help them apply their skill with integrity to prevent and heal the effects of the virus. Lord, have mercy.
For all those who provide education (especially____________________), that they teach with diligence, patience, wisdom and love. Lord, have mercy.
For students, (especially________________), that they will persevere and enjoy learning. Lord, have mercy.
For those who are unemployed (especially _____________), may they find meaningful work and experience your provision as they trust in you. Lord, have mercy
For those who are sick (especially ______________________), may they know your healing, comfort and care. Lord, have mercy.
For those who provide care (especially __________________), give them strength, courage, and rest. Lord, have mercy.
For those who are grieving (especially ____________________), may they lament and receive comfort in your love. Lord, have mercy.
For the church, that our willingness to love others in your name would bring hope to our world. Lord, have mercy.
Let us pray as Jesus taught us: Our Father...
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Benediction

And we the redeemed shall be strong
In purpose and unity,
