Steps to Manually Verify a Bank Account in Church Center

Go to https://blacknall.churchcenter.com/giving. After entering the amount and the frequency, choose “Add bank account”

Next, click the button “Verify your account”

When the Stripe popup appears do NOT select “Agree.” Instead, select the link at the very bottom that says, “Manually verify instead.” On the next screen, you will be prompted to enter your routing and account numbers and click “Continue.”

On the next screen, click “Done” and then click “Start Bank Verification.”

After you initiate a donation with a new ACH bank, you will see the account added to the Payment Methods tab on your My Giving page in their Church Center profile (Profile>My Giving>Payment Methods). The account will have an Unverified status beside it and cannot be used for donations until it's verified.

To begin using the account, click “Verify” account and enter the SM-code (6 characters beginning with SM, e.g., SMWXYZ) listed in the bank statement descriptor of the $0.01 deposited into your bank account. It may take 1-3 business days for the micro-deposit to appear on your statement. Once verified you can select it as your payment method for donations.
