Join our Women’s Ministry for the first gathering of a summer book club that will read “The Cost of Discipleship” by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Published in 1937, the book by the German theologian uses the outline of the Sermon on the Mount to explore the importance of “costly grace” and faith in action from Bonhoeffer’s perspective as a Lutheran pastor living amid Nazi Germany.

The group will meet on Wednesdays from July 8 - Aug. 12, with no meeting on July 22. Meetings take place from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Martha Carlough's home in Durham. For location and registration info, join the group on Church Center.
