Deep Common Journey partner Families Moving Forward (FMF) will host its annual “Rock the Block” Day of Service on Saturday, April 11. The event brings together community members to help clean, organize, and refresh spaces inside and outside the FMF building on North Queen Street (map). It’s a great way to support an organization that serves Durham neighbors experiencing homelessness. We’d love to have at least 10 people represent Blacknall! Volunteers will serve from 8 a.m. - noon and must be 18 or older. Find more information and register here.

Projects that morning include mulching and general landscaping, deep-cleaning community areas, and a few light painting projects. Water and snacks will be provided. If you have questions, email Anne Paulson.
