Join Blacknall members, attenders and friends on Sunday, March 29, for the 52nd annual CROP Hunger Walk, which supports organizations that care for the hungry and those in need. The event brings together people from across Durham to raise money for Church World Service and Durham Congregations in Action, which helps fund 14 hunger-fighting agencies in the city.
If you’d like to join others from Blacknall or make a donation, register on our team page — and invite your family, friends and neighbors, too. Our team goal is to raise $2,500 as part of the event’s overall effort to raise $220,000.
The walk includes a 4.5-mile route that begins at Duke Chapel on Duke’s West Campus and follows Campus Drive to Baldwin Auditorium on East Campus before a rest stop and the return trip to the chapel for a celebration.
On the day of the event, participants will gather starting at 1:30 p.m. outside Duke Chapel before stepping off at 2:30 p.m.
