If you’re interested in serving our immigrant community with ministry partner World Relief, Blacknall will host a volunteer training event on Sunday, March 22, from 12:30 - 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The needs of newly arrived immigrant neighbors are greater than ever, and you can help in a variety of ways, including offering transportation, practicing English with someone, or simply sharing time as a friend. The training will prepare you to serve as a tangible presence of Jesus to new Durham residents.

Volunteer commitments can last from six months to longer timeframes, depending on your availability. Everyone is encouraged to attend, even if you just want to learn whether this kind of volunteering is right for you. For more information or to RSVP, email Andrea Tshihamba.
