Durham to Alabama Pilgrimage Interest Lunch

  • Fellowship Hall, Blacknall 1902 Perry Street Durham, NC, 27705 (map)

All are invited to a potluck lunch on Sunday, Jan. 18, to hear about the life-changing impact of “Durham to Alabama Pilgrimage,” a five-day spiritual journey that explores how the work of racial justice spans generations and geography. Registration is open through Feb. 9 to join this year’s pilgrimage, which takes place during Holy Week and aligns with local schools’ spring break.

If you’re curious about joining this year’s trip, this lunch is a great opportunity to hear testimonials from Blacknall and Durham community members who will share stories from past pilgrimages. The annual trip is co-sponsored by Blacknall ministry partners DurhamCares and the Mt. Level Community Partnership for Racial Justice.

The group will gather for lunch in the Fellowship Hall after the 11 a.m. service ends. A main dish will be provided — please bring a side or dessert to share! Learn more about the pilgrimage here. Email Lindsey Dunn with any questions about the potluck lunch.
