The Mt. Level Community Partnership for Racial Justice, a Blacknall ministry partner, will host “Sacred Fire” on Sunday, June 8. The Pentecost celebration includes activities for kids, dance and music performances, and community worship. The event starts at 5 p.m. at New Creation United Methodist Church at 4705 Old Chapel Hill Road in Durham.
Sacred fire offers the chance to connect with Christians from across Durham to seek God’s vision of unity, diversity, justice, and salvation. This year’s featured speaker is Rev. Krystal Berry, the Associate Director of the Office of Black Church Studies at Duke Divinity School.
You can RSVP to receive event information and updates. Email Dave Dunderdale with any questions.
