The Mt. Level Community Partnership for Racial Justice, a Blacknall ministry partner, will host a conversation series inspired by James Cone’s book “The Cross and the Lynching Tree.” Led by Pastors Dr. Dumas A. Harshaw, Jr. (First Baptist Church in Raleigh) and Dr. William C. Turner, Jr. (Mt. Level Missionary Baptist Church in Durham), the events will take place on Saturdays, Dec. 6, 13, and 20, from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Level Church, located at 316 Hebron Road (map).

Each conversation will focus on exploring faith, suffering, and the enduring call for racial justice. You don’t need to have read the book in order to participate. Register here to join.
