Blacknall will host a celebration dinner for Congo Initiative on Saturday, Nov. 8, to honor the work of our Deep Common Journey partner. Part of the Christian Bilingual University of Congo (UCBC), Congo Initiative launched its U.S.-based organization 20 years ago to share its vision and mission and to create opportunities for individuals and institutions to collaborate with and support the organization. Congo Initiative equips the country’s next generation of leaders through education and community engagement initiatives.

All are invited to join the event, which will run from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and include remarks from Dr. Honoré Bunduki, Rector of UCBC. We’ll provide a free, catered dinner from Saladelia. Space is limited, so please register as soon as you’re able. You can register for childcare when completing the RSVP form.
