Men’s Ministry is excited to launch the new school year with a kick-off event on Thursday, September 5 from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

As we did last year, we will gather on the spacious lawn behind the homes of Miles and Catherine Honeycutt and Jeff and Lauren Connolly. We will enjoy light snacks and mingle, hear about Men’s Ministry’s plans for the year and how you can get involved, and break into smaller groups to pray together.  In case of rain, we’ll gather at Blacknall.

We’ll also hear from Jack Bell, husband of our new senior pastor Goodie Bell, about how God has been at work in his life. Jack is a writer, farmer, and dad of four children whom he and Goodie raise together on their farm in Granville County, North Carolina. Before becoming a full-time farmer, Jack taught literature at Wake Forest after previously teaching at Duke and the University of Richmond.  

No registration is required, but please bring a lawn chair if you have one.
