Kendall Vanderslice – baker, writer, and the founder of the Edible Theology Project – will lead Blacknall women in a Bake & Pray Retreat on Saturday, March 16, from 9:30 – 5:30 p.m. Blending baking science and technique with theological reflection, Kendall will teach us how to incorporate bread-making into the rhythms of our busy lives. The day is for everyone, from novice kneaders to brilliant bakers, and will conclude with enjoying the fruits of our labor. The cost of the retreat is $40.
