Potluck with Joel Asiimwe

  • Fellowship Hall, Blacknall (map)

Joel Asiimwe, Assistant Chaplain, Instructor in the Department of Morality and Leadership Development, and Associate Director of Church Renewal and Global Mission at the Christian Bilingual University of the Congo (UCBC)

Join us after the 11 a.m. service in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck lunch to welcome Joel Asiimwe, a faculty member at UCBC, who will share news about Congo and his work there. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Blacknall's Deep Common Journey partner Congo Initiative. Please bring a side to share. Meat will be provided.

Congo Initiative, a Blacknall Deep Common Journey Partner, is envisioned as a community of Christ-centered Congolese leaders and global partners united for the transformation of lives and a flourishing Democratic Republic of Congo. Congo Initiative educates ethical leaders who have integrity; invests in a sustainable vibrant Congolese society; and develops grassroots initiatives for peace, hope, and justice.
