We are excited to introduce Sarah Lapp as Blacknall’s new Associate Director of Middle School Ministry! Sarah has attended Blacknall since 2021 and served as a Seminary Intern in the summer of 2023. In addition to volunteering with our youth, Sarah plays the violin on our worship team.

Sarah holds a degree in Music Education from Grove City College. She previously served as a Worship Arts Fellow at Trinity Presbyterian Church (Charlottesville, VA), where she also mentored a discipleship group of middle school girls during their sixth through eighth grade years. Sarah has extensive administrative and organizational experience as well. For five years she worked as the Economic Principles Coordinator at the University of Virginia. Sarah graduated this spring with a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and is excited to bring her deep love of Scripture to middle school students.

She starts this week by leading the middle school on their big summer retreat to the Great Escape. Please welcome Sarah into her new role!
