On Sunday, January 14, we started a new sermon series. Pastor Goodie preached on 1 Corinthians 10:1-11 as a precursor to a study of the Book of Numbers. As Goodie explained, for the next 10 weeks, we will use Numbers as our guide to examine what it means to be a pilgrim people wandering through the wilderness. We will seek to understand what this tale of trying and testing might mean for us today as we seek to live faithfully in a divided, chaotic, and uncertain world.
