Duke Memorial UMC will host its annual Christmas Market on Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Christmas Market is a one-day, low-cost holiday shopping event for Durham families with limited financial means. Former residents of Families Moving Forward (FMF) will participate in this event. FMF, a Blacknall Deep Common Journey partner, has asked Blacknall to provide 10 drivers to help parents without cars get to and from the Market at 504 W Chapel Hill St., Durham, NC 27701. Drivers will pick up parents at their homes and drop them off at Duke Memorial. At an agreed-upon time, drivers will return to Duke Memorial to drive parents home. Please remember your car should be able to hold gifts for up to four children! Thanks for considering this very simple way to help our friends at Families Moving Forward.
