Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck dinner on Wednesday, April 26 with Dr. Honoré Bunduki. He currently serves as the Rector at UCBC-Congo Initiative, our Deep Common Journey partner in Beni, DRC. The potluck starts at 6 p.m. Please bring a dish to share if you are able.

Dr. Honoré Bunduki, Rector at UCBC-Congo Initiative

Since the very beginning of the Christian Bilingual University of Congo (UCBC) (est. 2007), Dr. Bunduki has served passionately as Academic Dean and more recently as Vice-Rector of UCBC. He earned his Ph.D. in Education from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Affirmed by colleagues, board leadership, and the wider community, Dr. Bunduki was appointed as the second rector of UCBC in December 2018. While Dr. David Kasali, President of Congo Initiative, cast the vision for this unique university in eastern Congo, Dr. Bunduki played a crucial role in implementing its programs and structure.

Congo Initiative is an envisioned community of Christ-centered Congolese leaders and global partners united for the transformation of lives and a flourishing Democratic Republic of Congo.
