Blacknall’s Good Neighbor team invites you to participate in a World Relief training from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. this Sunday, May 5, in the Fellowship Hall.

Our Good Neighbor team partners with World Relief Durham (WRD) to welcome and come alongside refugee families arriving in the Durham area. A major way Blacknall’s team supports these families is by setting up apartments for new arrivals. To ensure the welfare and safety of these families, WRD requires all volunteers to complete this training and undergo a background check before serving at the apartments. Current volunteers who have attended a previous orientation must complete this new, updated training.

Come and have lunch and hear from World Relief! Anyone is welcome to attend — even if you are not certain you want to volunteer. Please register to help the team plan for food.
