Worship services | 8:30 & 11 a.m.
Sunday worship is the heart of our life at Blacknall. Every Sunday we celebrate Jesus Christ as Lord. Our worship services include many elements of a traditional Christian liturgy, like Confession and weekly Communion, as well as a time of informal community sharing and prayer. In addition to corporate worship, many other things happen at Blacknall on a Sunday morning—conversations, coffee hour, Sunday School classes, lunches, and more. Dress is varied and casual. Come as you are! We’d love to welcome you.
Sunday school | 10 a.m.
Sunday School is a continuation of our common life in worship - a time to know and to be known, to learn and to pray, and to attend ever more closely to what God is doing among us at Blacknall and in the world. Classes are always open to visitors.
Upper elementary ages (3rd-5th grade) worship with their families. Younger children are welcome to stay for worship as well, or to head to the nursery or Children's Worship. Seating towards the back and in the balcony allow for caregivers to come and go during the worship service if needed.
Parking is available on Iredell, Perry, and Ninth Streets. The Duke Human Resources parking lot, across from the church on Iredell St., is also available on Sundays.
