Save the date: Sunday, July 27, 3-7 p.m. for a garden-themed church picnic at Hillside Park in downtown Durham (1300 S. Roxboro Street, see map for parking & directions). Blacknall will provide meat (and vegetarian options) and drinks. You are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert made with items from your garden. No garden? No problem. Non-gardeners are invited to bring a favorite summer food. Gardeners may also bring fruits, veggies or flowers to show or swap. The Hillside pool will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. for $2/person or $7/family. Hope to see you there!
